Bobby Phipps was a fine young man. He loved his family and they loved him. Like so many of our youth today Bobby had an addiction. On Sept, 7, 2016 Bobby Phipps left us.
Bobby was a student of mine and we tried our best to fine him treatment. We called and called but no one would help Bobby.
I personally have buried over 100 of my students over the years. The sadness will never end for Bobby's family.

If Tomorrow Starts Without Me
If tomorrow starts without me, don't think we're
far apart. For every time you think of me, please know I'm in your heart.
If tomorrow starts without me and I'm not there to see, if the sun should rise and find your eyes all filled with tears for me.
I wish so much you wouldn't cry the way you did today, while thinking of the many things we didn't get to say.
I know how much you cared for me and how much I cared for you. And each time you think of me I will also think of you.
But when tomorrow starts without me please try and understand, an angel came and called my name and took my hand. And said, my place was ready in heaven far above and that I had to leave all the ones I loved.
But as I walked away a tear fell from my eye, for all my life I thought I didn't want to die.
I had so much to live for and I had so much to do. It seemed impossible that I was leaving all of you.
If I could relive yesterday I thought for just a while. I would say good bye and hug you just to see you smile.
But when I fully realized this could never be. For emptiness and memories would take the place of me.
And when I thought of worldly things that I would miss tomorrow, I thought of you and when I did my heart was filled with sorrow.
But when I walked through heavens gates, I felt so much at home.
When God looked down and smiled at me from his great golden throne and said, this is eternity and all I promised you.
Today your life on earth has passed, but here it starts a new. I promised no tomorrows but today will always last. And because each day is the same there's no longing for the past.
But you have been so faithful , so trusting and so true. Though there were times you did some things you know shouldn't do.
For you have been forgiven and now at last your free. So won't you came and take my hand and share your life with me.
So, if tomorrow starts without me don't think were far apart. For every time you think of me please know I'm in your heart.

As a parent your journey is not over, its just beginning. No one will ever understand until they walk a mile in your shoes.
This Memorial Garden was planned by
church members and members of our community.
The flowers on the church grounds are for family members to cut and place on the graves of their loved ones. This was done so everyone could have flowers at no cost.
